Ouverture I (Orchestra Parts)

Nürnberg 1693 6 overtures in French style. One of the few works by Erlebach that have been passed down to us, these pieces are surely a magnificent example of late 17th c. Middle-German orchestra music. Each overture is composed of six voices (Premier + Second Dessus, Haute Contre, Taille, Quinte and Basse). They are supplemented by several “Trios”. Based on the publication of 1693, Nurnberg Ouverture I in a Ouverture, Entrée, Menuet I, Menuet II, Bourrée, Courante, Air, Menuet, Trio, Gigue, Sarabande
